Onion Maiden is a themed vegan restaurant in Pittsburgh. The menu images I had seen online said they had comfort foods like mac n cheese. I was excited to check it out.
Parking is a challenge and there is no indoor dining, due to the pandemic. No problem, we ordered to-go. Being hungry, we ordered lots of things to try. Crucifer Rising dumplings to start. Balls to the Wall and Weekend Nachos as entrees. With Cookie Monster and You’re Killing me Smalls for dessert (chocolate chip cookie and s’mores brownie).
Everything was delicious. We would absolutely eat here again. And the staff was kind and patient. Onion Maiden gets three out of five vegan cupcakes. But be aware that the menue is always changing.
