Supernatural in Manhattan

Chloe has a pop-up cafe in Manhattan this summer near Union Square. It’s in the Craft wine bar for lunch only. Of course I had to try it!

The Sunday I visited happened to also have Best Friends there with rescued kittens available for adoption. I was a volunteer adoption councilor for two years while living in NYC and fully support the work they give for the animals. A giant smile spread across my face to see them!

We picked out the burrito bowl, cauliflower tacos, and mac n cheese, as well as cookies for later. A friend got the nachos.

Everything was very sweet. That worked for the mac n cheese that have a jalapeno topping to balance, but it was not good for the burrito bowl. The tacos were okay, but they were very small for the price. Cookies are always fun and ours did not disappoint.

Overall, we were disappointed with Supernatural. The food did not live up to the hype or the price. Supernatural gets three out of five vegan cupcakes. I know Chloe makes much yummier food.
