Sticky Fingers in DC

Story time: Years ago I visited DC for the first time and was excited to visit this new bakery, Sticky Fingers. They were in a tiny basement location and I got my goodies to go. I think I remember one table in the space. I enjoyed every bite of the vegan treats I scored. Since then they have grown and moved into a bigger space. Or two, I haven’t followed that closely. Sticky Fingers now offers more than just sweets. With my new trip to DC, I couldn’t wait to relive that delicious moment.

We arrived in time for brunch. Yummers! Hubby ordered the pancake plate and I ordered the biscuits and gravy plate. Hubby also picked out a blueberry maple donut with coffee and I got the signature Little Devil with hot cocoa.

The donut was excellent! The rest was just okay. We were both disappointed. In addition, the staff seemed uninterested in taking our order. Another bummer. I don’t know that I will be returning.

Sticky Fingers gets two out of five vegan cupcakes. The space is small and cramped, the service not great, and the food just okay. Except the donuts. Those are yummers.
