Eden Vegan in Scranton, PA

What’s in Scranton, Pennsylvania? Lots of things! Following my spirit of adventure, we decided to visit a farm animal sanctuary outside Scranton, Indraloka. A Saturday morning event inspired us to drive up the night before. And thank goodness we did! Traffic added about an hour to our drive.

We stayed in an adorable Airbnb and walked around downtown Scranton, an old coal mining town. It’s really beautiful. When dinner came, we found Eden Vegan and enjoyed every bite.

The menu is extensive with salads, wraps, sandwiches, and more. Hubby picked out a “small” salad and smashed potatoes. I selected the buffalo quesadilla special and steamed veggies. We shared tiramisu for dessert.

Yummers! Everything was delicious and the tiramisu was not overly coffee flavored. The staff was patient with us, but did forget to give us our dessert. Hubby felt the space was filled with smoke from cooking, so we ate outside.

Eden Vegan gets three out of five vegan cupcakes. I would eat there again if in town and I was glad to find the yummy food.
