Vegan and gluten free Italian food in the most adorable space ever? Count me in!
Vida Cafe in Fort Worth, Texas delivers. There are even cuddle pads!
What the heck to order? A long list of pasta options and more. I had to take a little time to decide. Finally we decided to start with mozzarella sticks and a Cesar salad.
Both were excellent. The sticks didn’t stick to my teeth; always a bonus. And the salad wasn’t too salty, a common mistake with Cesar.
Then I got Mac n Cheese and Hubby got the Veggie Skillet. The mac n cheese comes with “beef” crumbles and I asked for those to be left off. Well, the chef asked if he could place sauteed veggies on top instead. Yes, please!
Hubby also picked out a scone that was not gluten free. He says it was delicious.
Both our entrees were delicious. And the staff was wonderful. Vida Cafe gets four out of five vegan cupcakes. Absolutely worth visiting this wonderful place.
