We passed L’Orto Bisto while on a bicycle tour of Turin, Italy. I took a quick photo so that we could return for lunch. Being a fully vegan restaurant, we were very excited to go back.
We were not disappointed. Hubby got the lasagna with a side salad and muchrooms. He ate it so fast that I couldn’t get a photo! I picked a traditional chickpea dish that I need to figure out how to make once home. To accompany it, I picked out roasted potatoes and mushrooms.
The staff was so nice and worked with us through the language difference. We sat inside because it was very hot outside. But they do have outdoor tables.
The food was fresh and delicious. As a pastry shop, I wish they had more gluten-free options. We would absolutely return and recommend visiting when in Turin. L’Orto Bistro gets four out of five vegan cupcakes.
