Traveling as a vegan has become so much easier since 1998 when I began my journey. However, traveling as a gluten-free vegan has reminded me of the past. There are certainly fewer options, and they can be more challenging to find. Green Seed Vegan in Houston, Texas makes things a bit easier.
An unassuming space packing multiple delicious options. All the paninis can be made with a gluten-free tortilla or collard green wrap.

Hubby and I both had lots to choose from. I selected the Rockin Tacos with a Peaces smoothie. Hubby ordered a Latini panini with dill fries and a strawberry mango smoothie. I did not try the panini, but everything else was delicious and Hubby liked the panini.

I also picked out a beetroot brownie for later.
It’s a smaller space and parking is limited. We visited at a slower moment and had no trouble parking or finding a table.

The brownie was good. Definitely made of beets, but it had a nice chocolate flavor and not dry.

I would visit Green Seed Vegan again. The service was kind, the space clean, and the food good. Three vegan cupcakes out of five. It’s worth checking out when in Houston.
