An unassuming house in an unassuming neighborhood holds a very fun treasure of vegan and gluten-free delights. Natural Living Organic Food Co-op & Cafe in League City, Texas is rated highly and is halfway between Houston and Galveston. I wanted to give it a try and was not disappointed.
The store part is not vegan, but the Cafe is, and clearly labeled as such. I had so many options to choose from!
Not being able to pick just one thing and very hungry, Hubby and I shared everything. Together, we picked out the Chicken Patty Sandwich with a cup of mushroom and potato soup and BLT Avocado Sandwich with zucchini chips. Hubby also picked out the Rasberry Lemonade Smoothie that I found to be too sweet and he enjoyed. I got the Berry-licious Smoothie with kale, which was just up my alley. We also picked out “Ding Dongs” for dessert.

Everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every bite! The sandwiches seemed small, but we were full in the end. The “Ding Dongs” were a real treat and very sweet. If we make it back here, I want to try the enchiladas.
There are a few tables inside and a picknick table outside. It was too hot for us to want to sit outside.

The store is also fun and operates as a true co-op. This means members can order shares of produce and dry goods. Non-members can shop too, at a slightly higher price.

Natural Living Organic gets three out of five vegan cupcakes. It was delicious and we will eat here again.
