Mildreds in London

Looking to try some fancy London food, we walked into Mildreds in Covent Garden for a big treat. I highly recommend a reservation if visiting during regular dinner time. We were hungry early, and there was an available table.

Mildreds plays with flavors and vegetables in delicious ways. We were not sure what to expect and delighted by every bite.

I ordered the Bikkeumbap and an Elderflower Bergamot Mojito mocktail. Hubby picked out the Grilled Artichoke Caesar and an alcohol drink I can’t remember. He also got the Harissa Patatas Bravas. The food and my mocktail were devine. The flavors surprised us and made us very happy with our choices.

They were also careful with my gluten-free needs and placed little toothpicks of GF in each dish.

We didn’t want the yummers to finish just yet and ordered dessert. I picked out the Yuzu Sake Truffles and Hubby the White Chocolate Tiramisu. Wow. That was the best Tiramisu I have ever had. Very light. The Truffles were also very tasty.

The space was nice and the people were very kind. Hubby felt his drink watered down and not flavorful.

Mildreds gets four out of five vegan cupcakes. It was delicious and I would be a regular if I lived in the area. Yummers! Hubby recommends skipping the alcoholic drinks.
