Leunig’s Petit Bijou in Burlington

Our first morning in Burlington had glorious weather and we wanted to eat brunch outside. Walking down Church Street, the main pedestrian path, we came across Leunig’s Petit Bijou. It’s a small building across from the main restaurant. It has a few outside tables for those picking up yummies.

We immediately picked out their vegan berry scone and a vegan cowboy cookie (cookies with lots of ingredients). I also picked out a salad. Hubby got a coffee and I ordered citrus tea.

Despite being prepackaged, my salad was crisp and tasty. The scones were also tasty, not as good as my own blueberry lemon scones, but yummers. Hubby didn’t like the cowboy cookie, but I did.

Leunig’s Petit Bijou gets three out of five vegan cupcakes. They were out of several options and only had a few to begin with. But we enjoyed what we got sitting outside on a beautiful morning.
