Lancaster Farm Sanctuary

I am crazy excited to share more about Lancaster Farm Sanctuary (LFS) and my next sanctuary visit/fundraiser! LSF is located in a very dairy heavy part of PA and thus the work they do to be an alternative living example is incredibly important. The sanctuary only began in 2017, but they are already fairly well known in Philly. From the photos on their website, it is clear that interacting with the animals is important to their work.

On July 14 I am taking a bus of people from Center City Philadelphia directly to this incredible place to help raise funds for their amazing mission.

Our mission is rescuing farm animals and providing them sanctuary; inspiring humans to live with honor, respect and appreciation for themselves, the earth and the other beings with whom we share the planet.

Even their core values are beautiful.

Our core values are ahimsa (non-harming), satya (truth telling), and asteya (non-stealing). They are the first three ethical guidelines of the yoga tradition.

I had hoped to make the trip in June, but July made more sense after greater consideration.

Does it get any cuter than these two? I’m sure it does and I can’t wait to experience it for myself!

This trip we will have guided meditation and gentle yoga on the farm and any animals can join us if they so choose. A certified yogi will be riding the bus with us and guiding this part of our day. It should be very relaxing! Just as with every trip, tickets include:

  • Donation to the sanctuary
  • Catered plant based lunch (food allergies accommodated)
  • Private tour to meet the animals and learn their stories
  • Free time to explore and/or buy a LFS t-shirt and further financially support the animals
  • Guaranteed seat on a luxury bus to and from the farm to let someone else worry about the driving
  • Film screening while on the bus

There are a limited number of tickets available for anyone who would like to drive themselves and meet us at the sanctuary, at a lower cost. Early bird tickets are available until sold out or the end of May, whichever comes first.

The vegan lunch is again being catered by Soy Cafe and will be crabless cakes, potato salad, and a chocolate doughnut. Yummers!

Tickets are available on Eventbrite. I hope to see you on the bus!
